Blogger.com blocked by DepEd's Firewall
I don't know why the DepEd IT's are blocking blogger.com. Maybe you know the answer please comment here. Thanks.
Decentralization of Payroll Services Division
The full implementation of DepEd's Payroll Service Division decentralization is effective January, 2010. The teachers payroll of the remaining region, Region IV-A, was already downloaded to Regional Office, Karangalan Village, Cainta, Rizal.
With this development, employees of the affected division, Payroll Services Division will be left without assignments. Are the officials of the department not aware of this? because there is no announcements or movements regarding this matter. Will they just let this employees being paid of their salaries without assignments? What happened to the rationalization plan that this employees are waiting?

Deped-GSIS Task Force
I emailed the editor of "Educ News" last May to publish the exact details on how to apply for the "Laptop for Teachers Program" in their December, 2008 issue but until now there's no response. I'm beginning to think that this program is only a press release.
Another item on that Educ News issue was the creation of joint DepEd-GSIS Task Force to address the different GSIS related issues and concerns, but until now the problem is still there.
Another press release?
Please comment.

I will ask for more information about this and relay it to you when it is clear.

Teachers Remittance
Hi there, I'm Nolie of DepEd. I put up this blog to sympathize with my fellow co workers and teachers regarding GSIS remittances.
The teachers, in my opinion are the most abused, and aggrieved members of the GSIS. I heard many stories of teachers who were deprived of their benefits because of what I see is the negligence of the GSIS. It keeps on blaming the DepEd for not remitting the teachers deduction which is impossible.
Why is it that the Arroyo administration seems deaf and blind with the teachers complain?
Please post your comment.
